It's been a while! And you might expect that I am ripped! Bulging muscles, kicking hundreds of 5 year old asses...but I'm afraid not...I've done nothing!
I did buy a new bike so that I could cycle into work, and again I started well. Did it about 5 times and then gave up. Nice bike though.
I also went for a cycle around the phoenix park since I live beside that now...27km. Not bad, but only did it once!
Got a WiiFit this week! Used it once so far. I have a wiifit age of 32 apparently....how insulting!
Anyway, let's see how it goes.

The last 4 days!!!
HUZZAH!!!! I Rock!
Tuesday, a day like any other day, good diet and a trip to the gym. Did a 20 minute interval
session on the bike and then on the rowing machine.
Wednesday, a day no other.....healthy diet and GYM, but not just pansy about....
Squats - 2 stes of 10 reps, 30 second rest between
Chest Press - 2 stes of 10 reps, 30 second rest between
Lunges - 2 stes of 10 reps, 30 second rest between
Inclines dumbbell press - 2 stes of 10 reps, 30 second rest between
(you get the pattern, right?)
Lat Pull down, Lateral raises, Hammer curls, tricep push ups, bicep curl machine, tricep dips, calf raises and ab curls (crunches)!!
Thursday, a day similar to Tuesday - back to cardio. 6.5km interval training on bike. 5 min, 1km rowwing. Crunches, pressups!
Friday, a day not dissimilar to Wednesday. All the strength and toning stuff plus added oblique curls, leg raises and back extensions!
What about that!!! Huh? Do I rock or what?

The Ab Plan
So, as Marco a.k.a MolumbyM rightly commented on my catch up post....43 crunches is pretty lame! I need to step it up!

Success Metric
So, thanks to Mike Carney, who provided this link! This is a measure of how fit I am at the moment! Apparently, I could take on 24 five years olds at the same time and win! I'm fairly happy with that!

catch up
So, I haven't written in about a week...I've gotten lazy!
So this week I decided that I wouldn't count calories or anything, I'd just follow the same pattern of the previous week which is fine! I'm still eating lots of fruit and veg and going to the gym, however since starting this buzz, I've somehow actually managed to put on half a stone!!! What's the deal with that...eat healthy, get fat!
So, I think I need to go to the gym more too. I only managed 1 trip last week, athough partly because I was saving the world. I gave a blood donation on Monday, and so they told me not to go to the gym that day...who am I to argue to health professionals?
So I made the gyum on Wednesday which was good. I started an interval training thing on the bike and the rower, though I don't think I was doing it correctly on the rower! I also did situps until my stomach muscle cramped...which was at 43 situps! :-(
To top off a bad week, I went out drinking on Friday and Saturday, but I had fun you'll be glad to hear!

Apres Weekend Review!
Right so....over the weekend, didn't keep my food diary so I don't have any food things to report on. And it will remain this way going forward. After the first week, I now have an idea on what things I do and don't need to be eating and the quantities as well.
So, from now, this is no longer my diet, it's my regular everyday eating patter so I wont be recording it any more.
Over the weekend I didn't get much exercise, however I did manage to greatly improve my Wii sports age. I have come down from a 38 to a 24! A massive improvement I think!
Steve and I had a bit of a challenge on the Wii yesterday. He kicked ass in most sports, except golf! I kicked ass in Mario Party 8, winning many races and mini games!
I put my success down to being off drink ( for the most part ) for the last 2 weekends! I did have 2 pints and a hot whiskey at the Leinster rugby match on Saturday! Leinster were victorious, by the way, beating the mighty Toulouse! We really needed a bonus point though! Now we need to beat Leister tigers and Edinburgh need to beat Toulouse for us to make the Heineken Cup quarter finals! A mammoth task!
I was lost without my car! I want it back. Must ring the garage and find out what the story with it is.
